CRISTEL CARRISI'S WEDDING

At the end of summer, Cristel, the third-born of the legendary Italian duet - Al Bano Carrisi and Romina Power - said "Yes" to Davor Luksic, a Chilean entrepreneur. This marriage, so much anticipated, has already been called "The Wedding of the Year".

The preparation started a year before the wedding, as the Italian tradition wants. As for the location of the wedding venue, the bride and groom have chosen an old family estate in Cellino San Marco (Puglia), where Al Bano Carrisi was born and now lives. The team of experts from PalazzoEventi (a Verona wedding & event planning agency specialized in the creation of exclusive customed events) has completely transformed the property into a truly unique location, giving the opportunity to 480 guests from all over the world to admire the beauty of Apulia, its hospitality, the fabulous climate and the culinary traditions.

The olive tree was the theme of the wedding, as a symbol of Cristel’s love for her land, while copper represented the groom, since it is one of the family businesses. These two motifs decorated the invitations, the website, the programs, and the menu, and were also present in the decorations of the location and in the look of the bride.

The day before the wedding, all guests were invited to a welcome beach party, named "Beach Please". The renowned DJs, a percussion show, a typically Mediterranean buffet, and a spectacular sunset - all this left the most beautiful memories. The wedding day, however, was very reserved. PalazzoEventi has created a true "know-how": customed invitations with QR-codes used to entry the ceremony and reception. The wedding was celebrated in the baroque church of San Matteo (Lecce), transformed into a forest of olive trees. Al Bano has moved everyone by singing his "Ave Maria". The bride has preferred to change clothes a few times. For the church ceremony she chose a dress signed Monique Lhuillier, completely personalized by Rebecca La Sposa atelier. The second look for after-dinner was styled by Carlo Pignatelli, a renowned Italian designer of wedding and ceremony dresses. The groom chose a Tom Ford's tuxedo and velvet moccasins.

The Carrisi family estate has been transformed into a true typical Apulian town, with its street musicians, Pizzica dancers, a "market" of delicacies served at buffet, luminaries, and an extraordinary musical parade. The elegant dinner was served under a tensile structure, among olive trees, flower garlands, thousands of candles, and a romantic atmosphere. After dinner guests enjoyed a concert of international stars, a lounge under the stars with sweets buffet, various cocktail creations tailor made for the party, disco until dawn, and the famous "late night pizza".
