EVERLASTING LOVE: WEDDING OF KATIE & DJORDJE

Falling in love at a young age? The story is not only of "Romeo and Juliet", but also of Russian-Serbian couple Katie and Djordje #KatieDjordje. The newlyweds met each other when they were 16 years old and since that time they have been always together. They arrived from England to Italy to celebrate the wedding of their dream and a new family was started in the old Villa Mosconi Bertani.

Katie and George's ceremony was held in the main hall of the Villa - the Salon of Muses, decorated with magnificent frescoes of the XVIII century. For a gala dinner in the open air was built a transparent structure, so the guests were protected from the vagaries of nature and could enjoy the picturesque park of the villa. A participant of Italian  Got Talent TV program Simone Al Ani showed the guests an incredible magic and made the evening even more fabulous. The culmination of the wedding was a bright show of singing fountains arranged on the lake. Dances and great celebration lasted till the dawn. The wedding planner - Italian Agency of exclusive events PalazzoEventi received many lovely feedbacks from the couple and their guests.

The wedding was held on the day of the Russian harvest festival. According to the belief – the start of a new family on this day brings happiness and wealth. Green apples were as an accent element of laconic and elegant decoration. The effect of the flotant fruits and burning candles created the atmosphere of a fairy garden. British burgundy roses were selected to underline the aesthetics of having become native Britain. These noble and aristocratic flowers were in the area di gala dinner, bouquets of the bridesmaids and boutonnieres of the best men.

An extraordinary bride dress "Lover's Lace" was created by Scottish designer Christopher Kane, a close friend of the bride. This dress was shown even on the pages of British Vogue. The outfit, which combined the silhouettes of lovers and delicate laces, reminded a masterpiece. “Katie and her fiancé are so in love, and the ‘lovers lace’ lace wedding dress is a reflection of that love” - commented Christopher Kane. The guests from all over the world were invited to the wedding, among whom were VIPs as well. Dress code was black tie.
