Team PalazzoEventi opened the wedding season 2017 ... in St. Petersburg! Here, in the Northern capital our lovers, Mila and Andrei chose to link their destinies. In love not only with each other but also with Italy, the newlyweds decided to play two weddings at once. First one - among friends and relatives in their home St. Petersburg and next to it – a celebration for two - in romantic Verona.
What served as an inspiration for this wedding? Italy, of course! It is not for nothing that St. Petersburg is called the "Northern Venice" because the city is saturated with the spirit, aesthetics, and beauty created by Italian architects. Every detail of this wedding fairy tale was a part of a single whole: the official ceremony took place at the Wedding Palace on the Promenade des Anglais, famous for its luxurious Florentine interiors, and the wedding reception at the Italian restaurant Bellini with stunning views of Isakievsky Cathedral and the Neva River.
Bordeaux and certain shades of red were chosen to be accent colors of the wedding, as the symbols of love and nobility - they were perfectly matched with soft pastel colors of the restaurant interior and emphasized the tenderness of the bride. After returning from the official registration, a symbolic ceremony was held, where the happy couple exchanged their vows.
During the dinner time, a great surprise awaited the guests - the waiters who served snacks, suddenly turned into opera singers! The soloists of the Mariinsky Theater performed their favorite Italian compositions to everyone's enthusiastic applause. Within a week, our couple flew to Italy to repeat their vows on Italian soil and enjoy their honeymoon. In the old villa near Verona, a film about the love story of the couple was made against the background of tender spring shades of nature.
